Following an extensive search Shaw Trust is delighted to announce that Juliet Mountain has been appointed as the Director of the Shaw Trust Foundation. The new role is part of Shaw Trust’s strategy for the Foundation to lead Charity’s philanthropic purpose and activity.
Juliet joins us on 16 November to initially focus on establishing the Foundation’s governance and supporting processes, before leading on the plan to maximise Shaw Trust’s charitable outcomes, as detailed in the Vision 2030 Strategic Directive.
Juliet has worked within the charity, government and business sectors, from start-ups to multinationals, including StreetSmart, Pilotlight, John Lewis Partnership, Virgin, Bridge Partnership and the Kalinga Fellowship. Her experience in communication, marketing and engagement, human-centred design, organisational and sustainable development, venture philanthropy and innovation brings a powerful mix with which to lead the Foundation.
