Building on the success of the Live Well Kent programme, Shaw Trust is pleased to be launching a Live Well service in Medway. Live Well Medway goes live this week in conjunction with Mental Health Awareness week.
Live Well Kent & Medway is a network of organisations working together to help people improve their mental health and become more independent.
Live Well Kent & Medway helps people to improve their mental health, regain their confidence and live more independently. We work with our participants to address any other issues they might be facing such as housing instability, money worries or loneliness. Participants that join the Live Well Medway service will be supported by a Community Health and Wellbeing Navigator who will connect people with the support they need through our funded network of providers and other organisations within the local community. Live Well Medway also have a dedicated Employment Advisor to support people to gain meaningful, sustainable employment.
Programme Manager for Live Well Medway, Matthew Jackson, said:
“I have been a Senior Navigator with Live Well Kent for two years and have seen the amazing support that the service offers and the real change that Navigators and Employment advisors make to people’s lives. I am excited to be able to offer this much need support to the people of Medway”.
