Shaw Trust is selected as the partner of choice by the West London Alliance for their new employment programme.
Shaw Trust has been chosen to deliver the West London Alliance’s new employment programme, aimed at helping those who have recently lost their jobs in West London. The Job Entry Targeted Support (JETS) programme is an initiative within the wider Work and Health Programme, which Shaw Trust delivers in West London.
This additional programme builds on Shaw Trust’s employability work, including the Department for Work and Pensions Work and Health Programme and Intensive Personalised Employment Support, and supports the work of the National Careers Service.
Chris Luck, Shaw Trust’s CEO, comments: “Shaw Trust is well positioned to bring its skill, experience and capacity to help the people of West London who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic. We aim to prepare them to return to work as swiftly as possible, as evidence shows that the first few months are critical if we are to prevent long-term unemployment.”
“As a charity we remain committed to delivering social value at every level in our programmes for our beneficiaries, and we are committed to returning the maximum possible return on social investment for our commissioners and tax payers.”
